Help! Suddenly my private tracker has no data!

First, don’t panic! Since Lifesheets uses GitHub for storage, there is always a history of all data modifications. The first thing to check is if you are logged in. Private trackers will not show any data to users that are not logged in.

If you are logged in and there is still no data, keep reading.

If you created a private tracker using a 2022 prototype of Lifesheets, your private data may have been stored in a separate repository called my-private-lifesheets-data.

If you suddenly find your private data missing, use the tool below to restore it (open tool in new page).

It will ask for the slug of your app, which you can find under the URL field. E.g. here: The slug is childcare.

You can also click "Export" to download the data file for your records.
